Tim is a Director at RMG. He specializes in accounting, assurance and advisory to construction firms. His clients range from construction managers to general contractors and subcontractors. He has helped a wide array of privately held construction firms and families reach their strategic, financial, and personal goals. Prior to joining RMG, he spent 13 years at a regional public accounting firm focusing on accounting and auditing for construction companies and non-profit organizations.

Tim’s broad range of experience includes audit, review, compilation, strategic tax planning, accounting and advisory services. He frequently prepares and analyzes construction financial statements and works with clients on construction specific accounting. He also prepares process reviews of construction specific areas such as job costing and work in process. He has experience reviewing client internal control structure and providing best practice suggestions to optimize fraud prevention. He works with clients to analyze financial information and prepares projections for both income and cash flow purposes.

Tim takes an active role in the firm’s Quality Control group and actively gages new and potential accounting and auditing standards and informs the firm’s clients about changes that are coming. He is a frequent attender of New Jersey construction society events and maintains an extensive network of lawyers, bankers and surety professionals focused on the construction industry.

Tim takes pride in forging strong client relationships and in consistently providing outstanding client service. He takes an active role in developing and mentoring staff associates through day-to-day guidance and firm wide training.
